Kamp Lintfort Airport (EDLC)

This is how the aviation community should be. When you refuel at a very low price—AVGAS 100LL at €2.35 per liter—the landing fee is even waived. Elsewhere it’s currently €3.10/L. We were even offered hangar space—better than leaving it outside. Extremely friendly fellow pilots. The runway is a bit undulating but well maintained. PPR was granted without any issues via email. Happy to stop by again. Thank you.
Warszawa/Modlin Airport (EPMO)

Large airport primarily for scheduled airline operations. Handling appears to be mandatory, but I couldn’t find this stated anywhere in the published documents. We arrived without prior appointment. Handling (Welcome Handling) was arranged on the spot by the tower. Vehicle transfer to/from the aircraft and security screening were very quick. Handling cost (4 crew with a PA46) approx. 30 EUR. As per NOTAM, AVGAS was announced as unavailable during our stay, so we had to make an additional tech stop.
Update: Received the airport’s invoice: 80 EUR for landing incl. 1 night with a PA46. Absolutely fine for an airport of this size.

A great airfield for GA and a gateway out of the EU.
Current AVGAS price as of 12 June 2026: 2.615 Euro / liter
Update 24 July 2026
And just found out: Europcar delivers the car directly to the airfield.
Fantastic airfield with helpful staff and excellent services.

Taxiway etwas in die Jahre gekommen, also Vorsicht beim Rollen.
Taxi nach Budapest unkompliziert über Bolt buchbar.
Pula Airport (LDPL)

Prices Grafair 21.07.2026 Piper Arrow 1247 kg MTOW
Landing: 85€
Handling: 226€
Per overnight stay: 79€
Handling mandatory if staying more than 2 days or if you need to refuel. Otherwise, limited PPR possible (limited to 2 aircraft on the field at the same time).
Nice airport, and by taxi/Uber it’s only 25 minutes to the city center (approx. 20€). Handling service is excellent. "Free" drinks and ice cream. AVGAS available.
BUT: the prices are simply excessive.
Padova Airport (LIPU)
by Josef • 2026-07-23 06:50:32 UTC
yesterday 1500 zulu at the field LIPU had trouble with starting the engine I got immediately help. Even as the airport closed already at 1400 zulu. In the homepage it states 1600 zulu. Very helpful people and all without charge.
Kärdla Airport (EEKA)
by Timo • 2026-07-22 13:37:49 UTC
Nice aerodrome with an IFR approach. Very quiet. Everything is easy and straightforward. During hours when the aerodrome is closed, a security guard opens the doors. A 10-minute walk from the terminal there is a small, simple but good restaurant right on the sea. Popular with local pilots for a $100 pizza.
Olsztyn Mazury Airport (EPSY)

Also needed a fuel stop. Large airfield, very quiet.
Refueling at the pump with a BP card is possible.
Refueling, including paying all fees, in under 30 minutes. Landing fee approx. 30 EUR.
CAUTION: The region to the north is affected by continuous, severe GPS jamming. Our 2 h IFR flight inbound from Tallinn had about 70 minutes with no GPS reception at all (not a single satellite). Be prepared.
Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport (EETN)
by Timo • 2026-07-22 13:24:40 UTC
We were there about 10 years ago. Large airport and already very expensive back then. I wanted to go there this summer. Handling is mandatory. The quote for 2 Crew and 2 Pax comes to over 1'000.- Euro. Pax are charged 150 per leg (out/in) each. We could possibly have registered everyone as Crew, but the 'risk' wasn't worth it to me. Following the quote I contacted AOPA Estland. They were not aware of this and have initiated talks. Whether and when that will achieve anything remains to be seen.
Rapla Airport (EERA)
by Timo • 2026-07-22 13:21:30 UTC
Affordable option for a visit to Tallinn. The shorter runway is intended for powered aircraft. We were there with a PA46; the runway is in good condition and reinforced with grids in the grass. Very friendly people at the airfield, and we were immediately given a ride into the city. Prior contact via Whatsapp was rather slow but friendly.
København/Roskilde Airport (EKRK)

DOF: 18.07.2026 - 21.07.2026
ACFT: PA28-140
MTOM: 976kg
IFR arrival and departure worked flawless. ATC and ground staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. 100LL available at self-service pump with credit card terminal.
Prices:
Landing: 20€
Parking per day: 10€
Mandatory handing: 35€
The mandatory handing is a bit of a nuisance as it includes no mentionable service for light aircraft.
The terminal has bistro which was closed, but also offers drinks and small snacks at a self-service station.
Ground transport is close to non-existent on weekends. The bus goes three times in the morning and three times in the afternoon from Monday to Friday. Best call an UBER to go to Roskilde train station (35€, plus 9€ per person for the train ticket ) or directly to Kopenhagen (70€ when booked in advance).
Bergen/Flesland Airport (ENBR)
by Bernd • 2026-07-21 17:01:16 UTC
Although an international airport, very GA-friendly and inexpensive.
VFR arrival and departure cleared through the CTR without issues. Held a bit in the hold due to airline traffic. The tower even apologized (no need—not their fault, but nice).
Parking at the far end by the woods—bus transfer to the helicopter terminal.
AVGAS with AIRBP Sterling card.
Price for Piper Arrow: 42€ (landing; parking free).
Important: phone number for the shuttle bus: +47 67 03 11 12
Visingsö Airport (ESSI)

Well-maintained, firm grass runway on a small island. Overnight parking and camping directly on the fine sandy beach possible. Excellent communication with the operator. With 800 m, also well suited for larger aircraft. GEM!

Gnesta/Vängsö Airport (ESSZ)
by Stefan • 2026-07-20 14:22:40 UTC
Friendly grass field, Night-VFR landings PPR. Only Hjelmco 91/96UL fuel is available on request. Overnight accommodation from simple rooms in the clubhouse over B&B at a farm nearby to exclusive castle hotel. Bicycles are available o/r. The airfield is located near Gnesta, which has a railway connection to Stockholm. There is a seaplane station at the lake, the club offers SEP-SEA training on a Husky also for foreigners. More details on osfk.se (for instance PN form, airfield has no PPR)
Pärnu Airport (EEPU)
by Timo • 2026-07-20 09:47:20 UTC
Excellent infrastructure. Very quick and friendly handling. Refueling and paying the landing fee in under 30 minutes.
Landing fee 53 EUR for a PA46 with an IFR approach.
AVGAS 3.11 EUR per liter, on the expensive side. But at least it's available.
Wyk Auf Foehr Airport (EDXY)
by Patrick • 2026-07-19 23:19:17 UTC
Since the previous report is 8 years old and Wyk auf Föhr is such a great destination: It is one of the most visited destinations of my wife and I. It's such an enjoyable place with friendly people. The approach is beautiful, the beach is just around the corner and it's an easy walk into town. We usually have lunch in the Sydbar of the Upstalsboom Hotel with a beach view. It's a highly recommended place for lunch. For those who stay longer, the island has a lot to offer.
Fondone Airport (LINK)
by Adrian • 2026-07-18 19:02:39 UTC
Privately owned airfield, PPR. Runway quality equals asphalt. Modern hangars (40€) for overnight stay. PPR. 100LL for 3,30€/L. Taxi to city 15 min. Most notable: Lecce has a very beautiful historic center, with extraordinary flair and vibrant nightlife. Perfect stopover to spend a night or even entire day. Recommended hotel: Tivoli right in historic city centre.
Brilon/Hochsauerland Airport (EDKO)
by hawaiian air • 2026-07-18 06:59:59 UTC
Was there during the week, so there was hardly any activity at the field. Beautiful location. Departure RWY 25 has a hill in the climb-out; mind performance. Needed to refuel, and dedicated club members helped me on site and by phone. Afterwards, due to a payment error on my part, my issue was handled quickly and courteously.
Arnstadt Alkersleben Airport (EDBA)

Aerodrome in the middle of nowhere. Friendly aerodrome staff, straightforward approach, and an air-conditioned pilot lounge where you can get drinks and simple food such as Currywurst or similar for a small fee.
Roitzschjora Airport (EDAW)

Still a well-maintained grass airfield with a long runway. Overnight on-field now possible, and scooters are available for hire on the field to explore the area. A real insider tip in the Leipzig area.
Karlovy Vary Airport (LKKV)
by Matthias • 2026-07-17 12:47:38 UTC
Quick refueling stop in LKKV without leaving the airport on a Sunday in July. Approach via OKG routing (IFR with DA42, max 2000kg) very easy, although the Controller let me down only to 8000ft due to an active glider area below, but still early enough to catch the ILS. Refueling ordered by the very friendly handling agent and done within minutes by truck. Jet A1 @ 12/07/2026 for 49,80 CZK = 2,02€. Handling Fee 423,50 CZK (17,50 €), Landing Fee 726 CZK (30€), all values gross (VAT). I did not register upfront, just filed the plan and flew. Very nice and easy.
Albenga/Riviera Airport (LIMG)
by Stefan • 2026-07-17 10:24:34 UTC
Good airfield with interesting IFR approach with transition to visual final approach between the mountains. Fast service and nice little terminal with a bistro inside. Parking for smaller aircraft is on a rather good grass parking with marshaller. Use the briefing on their website to familiarize with the approach. Paid in total 68,61€ for fees+handling.
